Service Saturday
Held every other month on selected Saturday’s, Service Saturday is an opportunity for students of all ages to work in the community at large to see how God’s grace and love can transform the community and themselves while being in service to others.

Summer Work Missions
Summer Work Missions are a much anticipated experience among the youth of Cargill UMC.  Trips have taken the youth to many different parts of Wisconsin and the United States.  The congregation supports summer work missions with prayer, participating in fundraisers and adult leaders. Youth can also participate locally through YouthRock!, a ministry of the Rock County UMC to provide missional service to the people of Rock County.

Fundraisers
Fundraisers are held to support youth work mission opportunities and fellowship programming.  The youth are charged with planning, executing and evaluating the fundraisers. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears posted for the next fundraisers so you can support our youth in their faith journey.

Leadership Development
Leadership Development comes with the confidence youth develop while participating in the fellowship opportunities and outreach activities at Cargill UMC.  Our hope is that youth will become equipped with life skills and knowledge of being a valued member of this faith family.  In additional to leadership in the local congregation, youth are encouraged to participate in Wisconsin Conference youth ministry outreach and faith based gatherings.

Adults Involvement
How can I get involved?  Anyone interested in helping with youth ministry activities is encouraged to see the Rev. Dan Verdegan.  The process is simple – schedule a quick interview, complete a program application, read the youth safety policy and join in the fun!  Every person who offers to give their time to youth helps them grow as a person of faith and keeps the covenant made at each child’s baptism.
