Worship Schedule

What Does Worship Look Like at Cargill United Methodist Church in Janesville?

The goal of worship is to connect with God in ways that engage our senses, inform our minds, and touch our emotions.  It is our goal to provide a meaningful worship experience for you.

Because we are all unique, we know that one style of worship cannot allow everyone to connect to God; therefore, we offer different experiences at each of our services.  We also continually assess our services to better serve our members and friends.

Try any or all of our services—we hope there is one that is a “fit” for you!

Saturday, 5:00 P.M.

A relaxed, “come as you are”, service in the chapel. Keyboard with contemporary vocal solos in addition to hymns. Liturgy and sermon the same as our  Sunday morning services.

Sunday, 9:00 A.M.

Relational traditional worship in the sanctuary. Organ music. Clergy wear robes. Our largest worship attendance is at this service. There is a concurrent one-room Sunday school for children through grade 5.

Sunday, 10:30 A.M.

Relational traditional worship in the sanctuary. Piano music. Clergy do not wear robes. More families with children and youth participate in this service, which includes a large concurrent Sunday school for children and youth of all ages

Last Sunday of the month, 10:45 A.M.

Family Worship. There is no Bible Journey Sunday School and families are encouraged to worship together.
