confirmation class

Confirmation
Confirmation class is offered at 9:00 on Sundays for students entering 8th grade or older who have not yet been confirmed.  Confirmation concludes when the student is ready to make the intentional commitment to be confirmed.  Students are expected to complete eighteen months of class and several enrichment activities during the course of their study.  Confirmation services are held in October each year for those who have completed their class requirements and are ready to profess a faith that, along with the Holy Spirit, will empower each to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.  Pastor Dan Verdegan for more information.

High School Sunday School
High School Sunday School is offered Sundays at 9:00 a.m. for students who have completed confirmation or are in 9th -12th grade.  Student discussions are Bible-centered, addressing contemporary issues as a way to affirm God’s grace, the teachings of Jesus and the continuing work of the Holy Spirit that is relevant and applicable to a young person.  The class is held in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where all viewpoints are welcome and encouraged and is facilitated by a peer.  Contact Pastor Dan Verdegan for more information.

Adults
 Adult education
opportunities on Sunday mornings vary.  This fall, Don Dyke will be leading a seven Sunday class “Walking with God in the Desert” beginning 9/8 in room 106.  Are you going through a difficult time, experiencing the loss of a loved one, unemployed, or in the midst of a crisis of faith?  During these desert times, it’s easy to thin God has disappeared.  Instead, discover that it’s only when we are totally depending on Him that we find him closer than ever and can experience God’s amazing grace and provision.  Other adult classes are held throughout the week.
